10. Derrick Rose - The reigning Rookie of the Year showed us all why he was the number one pick overall last year.  With his quickness, he has the ability to get to the basket any time he wants.  Once his jump shot becomes a bit more consistent, look for him to rise to the top of this list quickly.  He should be mentioned in the top three within two seasons.

9. Jason Kidd - Still arguably the best field general in the NBA, Kidd’s basketball IQ keeps him amongst the top point guards in the game.  He is still the best passer in the game and knows how to run the offense.  Even though never known as a deadly scorer, his scoring has slowed to almost nonexistent.  Add that to the fact that he can no longer handle the quicker guards defensively, and he slips relatively far down the list.

8. Baron Davis - When healthy and interested, Davis is one of the most explosive scorers in the NBA.  Davis creates match up problems for just about every guard in the league.  He is lightening quick with the ball in his hands, as strong as an ox, and shoots well from behind the arc.  The question with Davis is whether he is healthy and whether he will turn the ball over.  He can be very streaky at times with his decision making; questionable at best.
